Oh boo-hoo! Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr have finally confessed to Hollywood’s worst kept secret … their sugar coated marriage is over.
The boringly nice couple confirmed months of speculation that they’ve split – and guess what? Their separation is just as boringly nice as their married life.
The pair issued a statement insisting they still love and respect each other (although not enough to share a bed any longer).
“Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr have announced they have been amicably separated for the past few months,” said the statement.
“After six years together, they have recently decided to formalize their separation. Despite this being the end of their marriage, they love, support and respect each other as parents of their son and as family.”
Aw shucks, how cute – eh Ginger?
Miranda, 30, a Victoria’s Secret model, began dating Lord of the Rings actor Orlando, 36, in 2007. They had been married for three years and have a son, Flynn, aged two.
Meanwhile, Orlando has been enthusiastically telling a chat show host about how he kisses his Romeo and Juliet co-star Condola Rashad, 26, on stage.
Orlando said: “We sometimes get applause after out first kiss because it just goes on. Sometimes I’m like, I’m not letting go.”
Bloom and Rashad are appearing together in the Shakespearian love story on Broadway in New York.
Do we care?
