One Direction’s Liam Payne is mocked on Twitter over his reaction to fake gay photos

Celeb Clam Comments Off on One Direction’s Liam Payne is mocked on Twitter over his reaction to fake gay photos 202986

Poor little Liam Payne is not a happy bunny. Not only has he been the victim of a sex photos hoax but he’s been mocked on Twitter for announcing that he’s not gay.

Liam spoke out about his sexuality after a series of photo-shopped pictures were posted online which appeared to falsely show him getting up close and personal with another man.

The 21-year-old One Direction singer took to Twitter to deny the authenticity of the of the ‘gay’ images, saying: “Wow, as if people think that weird photo thing going around is actually me lol – think I’d rather tweet a full frontal than people have a look at that.”

When several gay fans apparently asked why Liam seemed so offended, he added: “I’m not homophobic. But I’m also 100% not gay, so when somebody says I am, I’m gunna say I’m not, which does not make me a homophobe.”

Ginger Clam decided to see what all the fuss was about so we had a quick search online and found an image of a man with his fingers up another man’s butt. We thought about posting a version of it here but we couldn’t be bothered (besides, you never know when a vicar might be reading at this).

Meanwhile, a laugh-fest was unfolding on Twitter with people cruelly mocking Liam’s announcement. One person posted: “@Real_Liam_Payne – you’ve successfully alienated your gay fans, why not alienated your overweight fans?”

Another wrote: “Instead of his pissy little Twitter rant, @Real_Liam_Payne should’ve simply tweeted ‘I am not homophobic” and ‘I love our gay fans’.”

Social media: don’t you just love it.
